I created The Circle of Stuff communications project for educational purposes as part of COMSTRAT 563 Professional Digital Content Promotion in The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University during the 2020 summer session. The course was designed to help students apply writing, critical thinking, and persuasion skills to the practice and promotion of PR and advertising, in both digital and social media outlets. The main goal of this course was:
- to introduce key ideas, principles, and tactics for creating digital content
- to plan and implement a digital content marketing campaign
- to understand core concepts in tracking and measuring the effectiveness of digital communications
One of the key deliverables for this course was the Digital Marketing Campaign Strategy document (PDF), which included a community of interest analysis, the content strategy, campaign messaging, editorial calendar, and monitoring and metrics plan.
For this 12-week project I created a branded website and associated Facebook and Instagram pages.
