I was a significant contributor in the authoring of Microsoft’s 2014 SEC Form SD Conflict Minerals report, particularly sections III, IV, and V, as well as to the report’s data gathering and analysis process. Annual disclosure with the U.S. Security and Exchange Commission is a requirement of Section 1502 of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
This report received the highest scores in a bench-marking study published by Tulane University, Elm Sustainability Partners LLC, and Assent Compliance in 2015 (see page 39).
